Sunday Dinner Mashed Potatoes Ingredients:
5 lbs. potatoes, peeled and cubed |
1 cup sour cream |
2 (3 oz. pkg) cream cheese, softened |
3 tbsp. butter or margarine, divided |
1 tsp. slat |
1 tsp. onion salt |
1/4 tsp. pepper |
Directions:
1. Place potatoes in a Dutch oven; cover with water 2. Cover and bring to a boil 3. Cook for 20-25 minutes or until very tender; drain well 4. In a alarge mixing bowl, mash potatoes 5. Add sour cream, cream cheese, 2 tbsp. butter, salt, onion salt, and pepper 6. Beat until fluffy 7. Transfer to a greased 2 quart baking dish 8. Dot with the remaining butter 9. Bake, uncovered at 350F for 20-25 minutes or until heated through |
