Easy pie to make and it is always a hit at company functions. Everybody always asks me for the recipe once they have tried it. Ingredients:
1 (9 inch) pie shells |
2 large eggs |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup all-purpose flour |
1/3 cup cocoa |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1/2 cup nuts (i prefer either walnuts or pecans) |
Directions:
1. Bake frozen pie crust as directed beforehand. Mix together the first seven ingredients. Stir in the chips and nuts and pour in pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
