SUNBEAM TAPIOCA This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Clover Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1989. Ingredients:
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
1/4 cup quick cooking tapioca |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup pineapple juice |
1 cup water |
1/2 cup orange juice |
1-1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice |
1/2 cup orange sections diced |
1 cup crushed pineapple drained |
Directions:
1. In heavy saucepan combine sugar, tapioca, salt, pineapple juice and water. 2. Bring to boil then boil 5 minutes until thickened then cool. 3. Stir in remaining ingredients then chill and serve with whipped cream. |
