Summertime Pasta Salad

This pasta salad is always a hit at summer cook-outs. No mayo in it to worry about spoiling in the heat.
Ingredients:
1 16 oz. box rotini pasta, cooked and drained
1 large cucumber, diced
1 large red onion, diced
1 cup sliced black olives
11/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup oil
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. parsley
1 tbs. season salt or accent
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to directions. Meanwhile, mix sugar, vinegar, and oil together with all the spices. Pour over the cooked pasta. Add the cucumber, olives and onion. Toss all together. Refrigerate overnight to the flavors go through. Toss again before serving.
