A wonderfully refreshing citrus flavor. Great for Summer! Ingredients:

1 lemon cake mix |
1 3oz box of lime jell-o |
3/4 cup orange juice |
3/4 cup canola oil |
5 large eggs |
glaze |
1/4 cup lime juice |
6 tablespoons powdered sugar |
frosting |
1 8oz package softened cream cheese |
1 box powdered sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/4 cup butter |
optional - chopped pecans between layers |
Directions:
1. Mix all cake ingredients together until smooth. (beat for about 2 min) 2. pour into 2 9 cake pans 3. bake at 325 degrees for 35 min or until toothpick comes out clean 4. Cool and mix 1/4 cup lime juice with 6 tablespoons powdered sugar and drizzle over layers that have been pricked with a fork many times. 5. let cool completely. 6. Beat Cream Cheese and butter together, add vanilla, add powered sugar. 7. Frost cake adding nuts between layers. |
