Ingredients:
3 tablespoons bacon drippings |
3 small onions, chopped |
2 pounds yellow squash, cut into 1/4-inch thick slices |
1/2 cup water |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat bacon drippings in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion, and sauté until tender but not brown. Add squash, water, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until squash is tender. |
