You can make this dish low fat by using fat free italian dressing and wheat pasta. Great as a main dish in summer or as a side dish with any grilled food. Ingredients:
1 lb spaghetti |
1 large green pepper chopped |
1 onion chopped |
16 ounce bottle italian dressing |
1 cup spaghetti sauce |
1/4 cup red wine vinegar |
1/2 jar of trader joe's salad seasonings |
1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese |
fresh basil |
Directions:
1. Break dry spaghetti into four pieces 2. Place in boiling water and cook until done 3. Drain and place in large glass bowl 4. Stir in the above ingredients except basil 5. Cover and refrigerate overnight 6. Stir again and add fresh chopped basil as garnish 7. This recipe never lasts more than a day in my house. Enjoy! |
