This is the salad that *I'm* sick of bringing to parties, but have to because of all the requests. It's not that it's ingenious or anything, but everyone always asks for the recipe, so here it is. Ingredients:
a couple handfuls of each |
snow peas, dethreaded and halved |
sugar snap peas, snapped, dethreaded, & halved |
green beans, snapped & halved |
radishes, sliced thin |
grape tomatoes |
broccoli, cut into small florets |
2 pickling cucumbers, peeled & sliced thin |
1 ripe avocado, sliced into small chunks |
1 pkg fresh cheese tortellini, cooked, drained, and cooled |
1 lb medium precooked shrimp, thawed & tails removed |
half a small bottle wishbone robusto italian dressing |
Directions:
1. Throw all ingredients into a large bowl. 2. Pour on dressing. 3. Toss. 4. Stand back while the barbarian hordes devour it. |
