Found this recipe in my local electric coop monthly magazine. It's really tasty and sooo good and a nice change of pace from regular iced tea. (Number of servings depends on what size glasses you use). Ingredients:
6 tea bags |
4 cups boiling water |
1 1/2 cups sugar or 1 1/2 cups sugar substitute |
1 cup pineapple juice |
1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice, -- thawed |
10 cups cold water |
fresh mint (to garnish) (optional) |
Directions:
1. Steep tea bags in the 4 cups of boiling water for about 5 mins; discard tea bags. 2. In a one gallon pitcher combine tea and remaining ingredients. 3. Serve over ice and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint if desired. |
