Ingredients:
6 cup(s) assorted fruit
Directions:
1. In a pitcher or large bowl,
2. combine 6 cups assorted fruit
3. (such as mango, pineapple,
4. cantaloupe, and apricot). sliced
5. or cut into pieces, 1.4 cup
6. thinly sliced peeled fresh ginger,
7. to 1 1/2 cups fresh basil or
8. mint leaves, and 1/2 cup orange flavored
9. liqueur, such as
10. Cointreau. Mash gently with
11. the back of a wooden spoon
12. until basil is bruised and fruit
13. releases juices. Add 1 bottle
14. (750 ml) chilled dry white wine,
15. such as Sauvignon Blanc or
16. Pi not Grigio, and 3 tablespoons
17. fresh lemon juice (from
18. lemon); stir to combine. Refrigerate
19. hour (or up to 1 day).
20. To serve, add ice.
