From Jerusalem Post Sept 4, 2008, by Rena Rossner. I'm estimating the number of portions as it was not noted. I haven't tried it yet but it sounds delicious. Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats |
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed |
1/4 cup whole wheat flour |
3 tablespoons butter, softened |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 cup almonds, sliced |
6 cups peaches |
plum |
nectarine |
apricot, peeled, pitted and sliced |
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed |
1 teaspoon almond extract |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C. 2. Mix together topping ingredients, set aside. 3. Stir together filling ingredients in a bowl and then place in a medium sized baking dish. 4. Crumble topping over the fruit mixture. 5. Bake for 30 mins or until fruit mixture is hot and bubbly and topping is golden brown. |
