Cooking Light. May 2003. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups pitted sweet cherries |
1/2 cup cabernet sauvignon wine or 1/2 cup dry red wine |
1/4 cup cherry preserves |
1 tablespoon amaretto (almond-flavored liqueur) |
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice |
2 cups low-fat vanilla frozen yogurt |
Directions:
1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a small saucepan, and bring to a boil. 2. Reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes, stirring frequently. 3. Stir in liqueur and lemon juice. Serve warm over yogurt. |
