This is an adopted recipe. I haven't tried the Rose's Lime Juice option, but love a squeeze of fresh lime juice in my ice cold beer. Original poster's comments: A delicious beer recipe that is also a simple remedy to ease the bitterness of beer. I learned this in bartending school (which paid my way through college). This is very popular with ladies and makes a nice pitcher option on the picnic table. Ingredients:
1 cup beer (not amber to dark) |
1/2 ounce rose's lime juice or 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice |
Directions:
1. Pour Rose's Lime Juice or squeeze fresh lime juice into a mug of beer to ease the bitterness and grip. 2. To make it extra special, serve in a tall pilsner glass or other pretty glass and garnish with a lime wedge. 3. Great in summer with fish, barbecue and salad recipes. |
