This is the tastiest mutton dish I've ever known! My brother's favourite! Ingredients:
1 kg mutton chops |
1 cup yoghurt |
4 tablespoons vinegar |
3 medium onions, 1/2 cup raw papaya and 8 cloves garlic - ground together |
2 teaspoons ginger juice |
2 teaspoons garam masala |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons red chili powder |
oil |
2 egg whites |
breadcrumbs |
Directions:
1. Wash and flatten chops. 2. Mix onion-garlic paste, garam masala, chilli powder, vinegar, yoghurt, salt and pepper. 3. Add chops to the mixture and rub well on both sides. 4. Set aside for 3 hours. 5. Beat egg whites lightly. 6. Drain each chop. 7. Dip each piece in the beaten egg white. 8. Coat with bread crumbs. 9. Heat oil in a shallow pan. 10. Fry until golden brown. 11. Serve hot. |
