This is a tradtional japanese dish Ingredients:
2 lbs filet mignon, cut into thin strips |
1/4 cup canola oil |
3/4 cup soy sauce |
1/2 cup beef broth |
1/4 cup sugar |
2 green onions, diced |
1 cup bamboo shoot |
2 cups shiitake mushrooms, sliced |
2 stalks celery, sliced thin |
1 cup shredded fresh spinach |
Directions:
1. Brown meat in oil. 2. In a bowl combine soy sauce, broth and sugar. 3. Pour half of soy mixture in pan with meat. 4. psuh meat to one side and add onions and celery. 5. simmer 5 minutes. 6. add remaining soy mixture, banmboo shoots, mushrooms and spinach. 7. simmer 5 minutes longer. |
