A delicious candy treat perfect for after hiking through the maple fields! Ingredients:
2 cups maple sugar |
1 1/4 cups 1/2 & 1/2 cream |
Directions:
1. Put the ingredients into a pan and bring to a boil. 2. Cook until a candy thermometer registers 240F (soft-ball stage). 3. Remove from heat, allow to cool until the bottom of the pan is lukewarm. 4. Beat on medium-high speed until it loses it’s shiny appearance. 5. Pour into a greased pan, cut before it cools completely. 6. Chill before serving. |
