4 cups walnut halves (1 lb.) |
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted |
2/3 cup powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine the walnuts and melted butter in a slow cooker and stir with a wooden spoon to coat evenly. 2. Sprinkle the powdered sugar over the nuts through a coarse sieve to eliminate lumps. 3. Cover and cook on HIGH for 15 minutes. 4. Decrease heat to LOW, uncover, and cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 hours. 5. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil and let cool completely. 6. Store at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 days. |
