The sugar burns fast so keep a watchful eye on them. Ingredients:
1 lb bacon, thin (at room temperature) |
1 1/4 cups brown sugar |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Cut each slice of bacon into two short pieces. Mix sugar and cinnamon together and thoroughly coat each piece of bacon. 2. Twist slices and place on pan or a jellyroll pan in a 350°F oven. 3. Bake until bacon is crisp and sugar is bubbly, 15 to 20 minutes. 4. The sugar can burn quickly, so watch closely. Let cool and serve at room temperature. |
