Simple , oh so easy and quick Pie from the 1950's! A Family Favorite! Enjoy!:) Ingredients:
1 cup of brown sugar, packed |
1/2 cup whipping cream |
1 tablespoon flour |
slices of butter (not much) |
ready-made pie crust |
Directions:
1. Mix first 3 ingredients in bowl. 2. Cover an 8-inch pie plate with dough. 3. Pour ingredients into dough, spread. 4. Dot with a few small slices of butter. 5. For decoration, few strips of pie dough 6. Bake in a 400F oven for 30 to 40 minutes. 7. Serve with vanilla ice cream. It tastes even better cold, the day after with a cup of coffee or tea...:) |
