Glaze for open fruit tarts, cake toppings such as fruit cakes. Sticky;allows for adding liquor and other flavorings. Gives a high sheen and helps keep product moist. Enhances presentation.
Ingredients:
1 lb water
1 lb sugar
4 ounces liquid glucose
Directions:
1. Bring to boil water sugar anf glucose. 2. If adding liquid flavoring or liquor deduct amount from water above.
