THIS KEY LIME PIE IS SWEET BUT IT IS TANGY. IT WILL HELP THE SWEET TOOTH. MY DAD CAN'T HAVE SUGAR THINGS FOR I TURN THINGS INTO SUGAR FREE FOR HIM PLUS IT HELP ME OUT FOR MYSELF. HOPE YOU ENJOY IT. Ingredients:
1 envelope gelatin |
5 tbsp. lime juice |
1/2 cup water |
1/2 cup splenda |
2 tbsp. lime zest |
1 cup evaporated milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
food coloring |
graham cracker pie crust |
Directions:
1. SPRINKLE GELATIN OVER LIME JUICE AND LET IT STAND FOR 1 MINUTE. 2. ADD BOLIING WATER AND SWEETENER TO GELATIN MIXTURE AND STIR UNTIL GELATIN IS DISSOLVED. 3. COMBINE MILK AND VANILLA EXTRACT AND WHIP AT HIGH SPEED UNTIL STIFF. 4. STIR LIME JUICE AND FOOD COLORING INTO WHIPPED MILK. 5. SLOWLY BLEND GELATIN MIXTURE INTO WHIPPED MILK. 6.
