made w/ phyllo dough sheets for top & bottom Ingredients:
2 tsp. lemon juice |
8 apples |
4 tbsp. splenda |
1 tbsp. flour |
1 tsp. cinnamon |
1 1/2 tbsp. butter |
1 tsp cinnamon |
1/2 tsp nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Peel and slice apples, sprinkle with lemon, tossing to coat. Place in heavy skillet with 1 tablespoon butter. Cover and heat on low until fork tender, 5 to 10 minutes. Prepare crust with four sheets of halved phyllo dough sheets. Pour apples onto phyllo dough shell. Mix sugar replacement, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg in cup and sprinkle over apples. Cover with two sheets haved phyllo dough. Seal edges with fork and trim. Bake at 425 degrees 35 to 40 minutes. |
