This an easy to do, so sweet dessert that makes everyone think you slaved over it. Ingredients:
crust |
1 cake mix, any flavor you want. |
1 egg |
1/2 cup butter or margarine |
filling |
3 1/2 cups of powdered sugar |
8oz. cream cheese, room temp. |
2 eggs |
1tsp. vanilla |
topping |
either chopped nuts, or miniature chocolate chips. |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Stir the crust ingredients together.
3. Pat into a 9 x 13 pan.
4. Mix filling ingredients together well.
5. Get all the cream cheese lumps out.
6. Pour over crust.
7. Sprinkle with the topping of your choice.
8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until filling is set & lightly brown.
9. Let cool before cutting.
