Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted before measuring |
1/8 teaspoon table salt |
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 cup honey |
1/4 cup butter |
1 cup granulated sugar |
1 egg |
1/3 cup milk |
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
Directions:
1. Sift flour with salt, cream of tartar, baking soda, nutmeg, and cinnamon. In a large mixing bowl cream honey and butter with 1 cup sugar until light; beat in egg and milk. Stir in flour mixture. 2. Roll dough into small, teaspoon-sized balls and roll in 1/2 cup sugar. Press lightly in the center of the ball with your thumb to make cookie slightly flat and indented. Bake at 375° F for about 10 minutes, or until done. |
