Sue is famous for these cookies. I love them with a cup of hot tea or a glass of really cold milk! Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1/2 cup corn starch |
1/2 cup powdered sugar |
1 cup butter |
1 egg yolk |
Directions:
1. Mix with hands (if dry/not sticking together add another egg yolk) 2. Roll with rolling pin to 1/4 to 1/3 inch thick. 3. Cut with cookie cutter or sharp knife into various shapes. 4. Prick with a fork twice. 5. Bake 17 min. at 350. 6. You only want them to be light golden brown on the edges. Don’t over-bake. |
