My aunt has been making this for years and finally gave my mom and I the recipe...it is always requested for parties, potlucks, birthdays and just because. It's really easy too! Ingredients:
3/4 cup sugar |
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine |
1 large egg |
1 cup milk |
2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 cups blueberries |
2/3 cup sugar |
2/3 cup flour |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°. 2. Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan. 3. Mix together first 7 ingredients. 4. Gently stir in blueberries. 5. Place in prepared pan. 6. To make topping, mix last 4 ingredients together and sprinkle over cake mixture. 7. Bake in preheated oven for 45-50 minutes. 8. Serve warm or cooled. |
