The original recipe called for water, and just a pinch of spice. Based on other people's reviews, I altered it slightly when I made the rice tonight for our dinner, and I have adjusted the recipe accordingly. thankyou to everyone who has contributed to improving this recipe, my family loved it. :). Ingredients:
3 cups rice |
1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon oil |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon turmeric, or |
1 teaspoon coriander, or |
1 teaspoon cardamom |
3 cups chicken stock |
Directions:
1. In pot, fry rice in butter / oil for 1 - 2 minutes. 2. Pour stock into pot, covering rice. Add salt and turmeric or coriander or cardamom. 3. Cover and cook until water evaporated. |
