These ribs are very good, they're simple to throw together. I got this recipe from My Great Recipes and made them two nights ago,and the family loved them. Ingredients:
3 to 4 ibs. country-style pork ribs |
1 tbsp. oil |
1/2 cup mild soy sauce |
1/3 cup catsup |
1 tsp. dry mustard |
2 tbsp. brown sugar, packed |
1 clove garlic, minced or pressed |
1/4 tsp. black pepper |
1 tsp. chili powder |
few dashes hot pepper sauce |
cayenne pepper, optional |
2 oranges, unpeeled, thinly sliced celery leaves for garnish, optional |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325.F 2. Cut off excess fat from ribs. 3. Heat oil. Brown ribs. Place them in a roasting pan. 4. Combine soy sauce, catsup, mustard, brown sugar, garlic, black 5. pepper, chili powder, hot pepper sauce and cayenne. 6. Pour sauce over ribs, turning to coat evenly. 7. Cover with foil and bake for 45 to 50 min. 8. Uncover. Spoon sauce over ribs. Leave uncovered and bake 45 to 50 min. longer until ribs are tender, a rich brown and begin to crisp. 9. Serve on a large platter, spooning extra sauce over ribs. 10. Garnish with orange slices and celery leaves, if desired. |
