These are the most tender, delicious fall off the bone ribs you have ever tasted. Even though these Ribs aren't cooked on the BBQ, they are a constant request from our family and friends. Ingredients:
6 lbs fresh pork side ribs |
2 cups onions, chopped |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
2 cups water |
2 beef bouillon cubes |
1/2 cup dark brown sugar |
1 cup catsup |
1/2 cup cider vinegar |
2 cups tomato puree |
1 tablespoon celery salt |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice |
1/2 teaspoon clove |
1/2 teaspoon ginger |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/2 cup drained sweet pickle relish |
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven to 350°F. 2. Brown ribs in a heavy kettle. Transfer to large baking pan. 3. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. 4. Cover with foil and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. |
