These cake-y cookies are delicious! I call them the Sublime Cookies because they were made with What I Got (haha, get it?) Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1 1/2 cups nesquick dry powdered chocolate milk mix |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1 1/2 teaspoons coffee, finely ground |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 cup butter |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 egg |
powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients until they are completely combined and lump free. 2. Mix in egg, butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and completely combined. 3. With you hands, form 1 1/2 to 2 inch balls, roll in a moderate layer of powdered sugar (white, but not caked), and place widely apart on a greased cookie sheet (I strongly prefer parchment paper to greased sheets). 4. Bake at 350 F for approx 10 minutes. 5. Note: Chocolate milk mix can be replaced with 3/4 cup cocoa powder and 3/4 cup powdered sugar. Fine ground instant coffee can be used in place of regular coffee. I used corn flour in this recipe, but I'm sure white flour would work just fine. |
