We have this great little Sub Shop here in Columbia. They make great warm subs, but I have always loved their tomato soup. Here is a recreation of that soup that I make at home for those nights I want a warm comforty feeling, and great taste! Read more ! I hope they do not get mad at me for putting it out here, but you have got to try this!!! Ingredients:
1 can condensed tomato soup, i use a cheap brand |
1 can milk, i use 2 percent |
mozzarella cheese cut into 1/2 inch squares |
old bread, sub loaves style, torn into 1 inch pieces |
Directions:
1. Mix the soup and milk on low heat. 2. When heated through, serve in a large coffee mug. Fill it about 2/3 full. 3. Drop in about 3 to 5 chunks of cheese, and 3 to 4 chunks of the bread. 4. Let set 5 minutes. 5. The Cheese at the bottom is stringy and the bread is now soaked in the soup. 6. Darn this makes me want to get up and make a cup. 7. ================================================== 8. Here are a couple of web-pages to check them out at! 9. Sub Shop Homepage: / 10.
