This is a recipe my grandma got off of a can of Libby's pumpkin. Its the only pumpkin pie recipe she used. Ingredients:
2 eggs slightly beaten |
1 3/4c pumpkin |
3/4c sugar |
1/2tsp salt |
1tsp cinnamon-heaping |
1/2tsp ginger-careful |
1/4tsp cloves-heaping |
2/3c evaporated milk |
9 unbaked pie crust |
Directions:
1. Mix ingredients in order given. 2. Pour into pastry shell. 3. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. 4. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and cook for another 45 minutes. |
