Ingredients:
6 green peppers |
1 pound(s) ground beef |
1/2 cup(s) chopped onions |
1 cup(s) cheddar cheese |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper |
1 can(s) diced tomatoes |
1 can(s) tomato sauce |
1 teaspoon(s) worchestershire sauce |
1 cup(s) cooked rice |
Directions:
1. Cut tops off peppers and remove seeds. Place peppers in saucepan and cover with water. Boil for 3 minutes. Drain inverted on paper towel. Cook beef and onion over medium heat until beef is no longer pink; drain. Stir in cooked rice, salt, worchestershire, cheese, garlic powder and pepper. Spoon into peppers. Bake in ungreased shallow 2 qt baking dish. Drizzle with tomato sauce. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. |
