Whole peppers stuffed with organic ground beef, basmati rice, onion, mushrooms, garlic, and fresh ground pepper topped with pasta sauce. Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef |
1 1/2 cups rice |
5 sweet peppers |
1/2 onion |
5 mushrooms |
4 garlic cloves |
28 oz. pasta sauce |
1/2 cups shredded cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook rice according to package directions. 2. Cook beef with mushrooms, onion, and garlic. 3. Add rice to beef mixture. 4. Add cheese. 5. Stuff each pepper with the mix. 6. Place in slow cooker. 7. Top with pasta sauce. 8. Cook on low for 4-5 hours. |
