Soup season is here and while looking for soups on the net I found this gem...From Ivy House Bed and Breakfast in Fortville Indiana Ingredients:
2lbs. ground beef |
i envelope dry onion soup mix |
1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained |
1 can (28 ounces) tomato sauce |
2 cups white rice, cooked |
2 cups green peppers, chopped |
2 beef bouillon cubes |
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed |
4 tbls. cider vinegar |
1 tsp. pepper |
2 1/2 cups of water |
Directions:
1. In large saucepan, brown beef and drain 2. Add dry soup and stir 3. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil 4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes or until peppers are tender |
