This recipe was created with things out of the frig.. It's now a party time favorite. You can use different kinds of cream cheese. Simple and Delicious Ingredients:
2 lbs. whole fresh mushrooms |
1 carton (8oz.) spreadable garden vegetable cheese |
4 oz. imitation or real crabmeat |
1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese,divided |
2 tbs mayonnaise |
1/4 tsp salt |
1/8 tsp pepper |
Directions:
1. Remove stems from mushrooms and finely chop 1/4 c (discard remaining stems);set caps aside. 2. In small bowl,beat cream cheese until smooth. Stir in chopped mushroom stems,crab,1/4 c cheddar cheese,mayonnaise salt and pepper. Spoon about 2 tsp. into each mushroom cap. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet;sprinkle with remaining cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 for 15-18 mins. otr till mushrooms are tender. |
