Cheese and meat stuffed bread loaf. Ingredients:
1 loaf french bread |
oil |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 bell pepper, chopped |
garlic |
italian seasoning |
salt |
pepper |
1/2 lb ground turkey |
1/2 lb mild breakfast sausage |
0.5 (10 7/8 ounce) can mushroom soup |
0.5 (14 1/2 ounce) can rotel, drained |
1 tablespoon sugar |
4 ounces velveeta cheese, cubed |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Cut loaf in half lengthwise. Pull out soft centers of bread and set aside. 3. Saute onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Season to taste. 4. Add turkey and sausage and cook through. 5. Add mushroom soup, rotel, sugar, bread centers, and velveeta. Stir until cheese is melted. 6. Place mixture in bottom half of bread. Place top of bread over mixture. Wrap loaf in aluminum foil. 7. Bake for 15-20 minutes. |
