Stuffed Green Bell Peppers

When our garden is brimming with fresh green peppers this is a favorite way to fix them. These are very good.
Ingredients:
6 medium green peppers
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 cup cooked rice
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 cup diced tomato
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 (10 ounce) can tomato soup
1/2 teaspoon basil
Directions:
1. Cut tops off peppers, remove seeds.
2. Drop in boiling water for 3 minutes.
3. Drain, rinse in cold water.
4. In a bowl, combine the next 8 ingredients.
5. Spoon into peppers.
6. Put in a greased 13x9-inch pan.
7. Mix soup and basil.
8. Spoon over peppers.
9. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
