We used to do this when I was a child, for holidays, and whenever important company was coming. Ingredients:
16 dates |
4 ounces marscarpone cheese |
honey for drizzling |
slivered almonds or ground almonds |
Directions:
1. Pit the dates, and cut a slit lengthwise down the middle of each one. 2. Fill each slit with Marscarpone. 3. When all are done, put them on a serving plate and drizzle with honey. 4. Stick slivered almonds into the cheese filling of each date. 5. If you use ground almonds, just sprinkle then over the stuffed dates. |
