Easy and delicious stuffed squash. Saw on Nancy's Kitchen. Ingredients:
8 yellow crookneck squash,young and tender |
6 tbs melted butter |
10 saltine crackers |
1 onon ,minced |
6 tbs bacon drippings 1 tsp sugar |
1/8 tsp black pepper |
pinch of salt |
Directions:
1. Leave squah whole. Boil for 20 mins. Let cool. 2. Slice the tops off and scoop out pulp. Mash pulp and mix with all other ingredients. 3. Fill squash with stuffing and bake 15 mins. in 350 degree oven. |
