I remember eating these when I was young and I have been craving it for a while. So I decided to just try it out with what I think whould go in and it turned out pretty good. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
4 cleaned bell peppers |
vegetable oil or sesame oil |
1/3 cup chopped onion |
1/3 cup chopped garlic |
1 carrot, finely chopped |
1 stalk celery, finely chopped |
2 -4 tablespoons soy sauce |
1/2 cup oyster sauce |
black pepper |
oregano |
parsley |
bay leaves or your favorite dry seasoning |
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven to 360 degrees. 2. Cut tops of bell peppers and remove seeds and stem. I keep the top, but you that's optional. 3. Mix all ingredients except for oyster sauce in a bowl. 4. Coat the inside of the bell peppers with sesame oil or vegetable oil. It should look shiny but now drenched with oil. 5. stuff the bell peppers with mixed ingredients to the top. 6. Place them on a greased baking tray. 7. Place in the oven for 25 - 30 minute. 8. Remove the bell peppers and glaze the left over oyster sauce over them. 9. then Enjoy! |
