Easy make ahead breakfast Ingredients:
12-14 slices texa toast |
8-12 eggs |
1 1/2 (8oz) pkg. cream cheese,cubed |
2 1/2 c. milk |
1/2c maple syrup |
1 tsp. vanilla extract |
1 tsp. maple flavoring(opt) |
1/4-1/2 tsp cinnamon |
toppiing |
1c brown sugar |
1/2 c chopped peacands,almonds,or walnuts |
Directions:
1. Spray a 9x13 pan with Pam, or greas well with oleo. Layer half the bread, then all of the cream cheese cubes. Put reast of bread on top of cheam cheese. Mis in bowl with a mixer, the eggs, milk,syrup,flavorings and cinnamon. Pour over bread in pan. Cover and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, set out 30 minutes before baking. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes,covered. Mix brown sugar and nuts. Sprinkle on top and bake 10 minutes more, uncovered. Can serve with extra syrup 2. NOTE: Use regular cream cheese not reduced fat or lite, they will not melt together with other ingredients. |
