Stuffed Any Way You Want Hamburgers |

You've got lots of options for stuffing these burgers! :) (Please note: this is an adopted recipe and needs some editing.) Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs beef, ground |
1/4 cup onion, minced |
1 teaspoon salt, to taste |
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper |
1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs |
1 large egg |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
dill pickles or pickle relish |
catsup |
onions or tomato, slices |
cheddar cheese, slices |
prepared mustard |
horseradish |
1 onion, finely chopped |
american cheese |
1/4 cup american cheese or 1/4 cup cheddar cheese |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard, yellow or dijon |
2 tablespoons mayonnaise or 2 tablespoons salad dressing |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 ounces canned mild green chilies, chopped |
green chili, to taste (whatever you prefer) (optional) |
jalapeno, to taste (if you like) (optional) |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except the fillings. 2. Shape mixture into 12 thin patties, each about 3 1/2-inches in diameter. 3. Top each of 6 patties with a filling, spreading to within 1/2-inch of the edge. 4. Cover with a remaining patty, sealing the edges firmly. 5. Broil or grill patties 4-inches from the heat, carefully turning once, to the desired doneness, about 10 minutes. 6. PEPPY CHEESE FILLING: Mix all ingredients. |
