my mom used to always make these they are great on a salad Ingredients:
6 fresh figs |
12 slices ricotta salata |
6 slices prosciutto |
fresh ground pepper |
balsamic vinegar |
Directions:
1. cut the tops off the figs and cut almost through with an X . 2. stuff the pieces of cheese into the grooves. 3. wrap with a piece of proscutto. 4. crack a little black pepper on top 5. pour some balsalmic vinegar on top. |
