Hummus - with an extra kick from lots of lemon juice, dill, and optional hot sauce - powers me through my exams Ingredients:
1 cup of chickpeas |
1/4 cup of lemon juice |
1/6 cup of tahini |
1 clove of finely diced garlic (sauté if its too strong) |
1 tbsp of dried dill (less if you have fresh) |
1 tbsp of dried parsley (less if you have fresh) |
1/2 tbsp of hot sauce (optional) |
1 tbsp of olive oil |
1/8 cup of water |
pinch of paprika (optional) |
salt |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients in a food processor, magic bullet, or blender. 2. Mix until smooth. 3. Sprinkle a pinch of paprika on top. 4. Spread or dip with anything - pita, bread, crackers etc. |
