This soup is great with a crusty loaf of bread and a nice red wine. Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef |
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced |
1 small onion, chopped |
4 cups chicken broth |
2 tbls. red wine |
2 tbls. red wine vinegar |
1/2 tbls. brown mustard |
1/2 tsp. garlic powder |
1 tbls. dark soy sauce |
1 tbls. worcestershire sauce |
salt and pepper to taste |
1/2 sick butter |
1/2 cup flour |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1/2 cup half and half |
1 cup egg noodles, cooked |
Directions:
1. Brown beef then drain 2. In large pot add beef and next 10 ingredients 3. Bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes 4. In skillet, melt butter 5. Add flour and cook for a minute or 2, stirring until blended 6. Gradually add to soup and simmer another 15 minutes 7. Reduce heat to low and add sour cream, half and half, and noodles 8. Heat through |
