Move over cheese steak. Grab a cold beer and enjoy one of these. Served open faced. Ingredients:
2/3 cup beer |
1/3 cup vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 garlic clove, slivered |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
2 lbs flank steaks |
2 tablespoons butter |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
4 cups onions, sliced |
1/4 cup mushroom, sliced |
12 ounces sour cream |
1 teaspoon horseradish |
12 slices french bread |
Directions:
1. Combine beer, oil, salt , garlic and pepper in large bowl. Add meat and marinate covered, overnight. 2. Drain meat. Grill or broil meat till desired amount of doneness. 3. In medium saucepan, melt butter with paprika and salt. Add onions and mushrooms, cook until onions are tender. 4. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and horseradish. 5. Slice meat into thin strips. Lightly toast bread. 6. Place meat over toast, cover with sour cream sauce. sprinkle with paprika. |
