A nice lemon and cream cheese dessert Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 cup butter, softened |
2 (8oz) packages cream cheese |
1 cup sugar |
2 15 oz cans lemon pie filling |
1 container cool whip, thawed (12 oz) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour and butter using a pastry cutter intil a ball forms 3. Press into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish 4. Bake for 25 minutes until lightly browned 5. Remove from oven and let cool completely 6. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and well blended 7. Spread evenly over the cooled crust 8. Spread the pie filling over the cream cheese layer 9. Chill until set then top with cool whip |
