This is a very good dessert, and is one that can be made a day ahead of time, if you are planning a big family get-together - so delicious!! Ingredients:
30 oreo cookies |
6 tablespoons butter, melted |
1 (350 g) package philadelphia cream cheese, softened |
1/4 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons cold milk |
1 (1 liter) container cool whip topping, thawed, divided |
2 (113 g) packages chocolate instant pudding |
3 1/4 cups cold milk |
Directions:
1. Process cookies in food processor until fine crumbs form. Mix with butter. Press onto bottom of 13x9 inch dish. Refrigerate until ready to use. 2. Beat cream cheese, sugar and 2 tablespoons milk in medium bowl. with whisk until well blended. Stir in 1 1/4 cups Cool Whip; spread onto crust. 3. Beat pudding mixes and 3 1/4 cups milk with whisk 2 minutes; spoon over cream cheese layer. Let stand 5 minutes or until thickened; cover with remaining Cool Whip. Refrigerate 4 hours. 4. SPECIAL EXTRA: Drizzle each plate with melted semi-sweet chocolate before topping with dessert. Sprinkle with crushed candy canes or additional oreo cookies. |
