Ingredients:
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened |
1 cup granulated sugar |
2 large eggs |
1 cup sour cream |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar |
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. grated nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy; gradually add granulated sugar, beating well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating until blended after each addition. Add sour cream, mixing well. 2. Combine flour and next 5 ingredients; add to butter mixture, beating well. Spread batter into a greased and floured 13 x 9 pan. 3. Combine brown sugar, pecans, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, and 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. nutmeg in a small bowl. Sprinkle evenly over batter. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours. 4. Uncover; bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. |
